Gloucester 7-piece The Uncharted returned with “Infinite”, their first new music in nearly 2 years recently. Having released a string of singles since their inception in 2014, with a well-received debut EP Perspectives, recorded by Daniel Kerr, released at the end of 2018, and UK tour slots with Our Hollow Our Home and THECITYISOURS in 2019, fan and industry attention for the band was really gaining traction when Covid hit and live music was temporarily silenced.

With shows and touring not looking like they were returning any time soon, and no new music in the bag to tide them over, the future of the band was looking uncertain. Some time out at the end of 2020 to re-evaluate and re-energise creative cells was taken, and in this period came the discovery of a renewed ion, and shared desire to make more music together. After a productive hiatus, and nearly two years on from their last release, The Uncharted returned, all guns blazing, with their brand new single “Infinite”.

Returning to record with long time friend and producer Daniel Kerr, the track is a song about the joy of creating and exploring all the possibilities in life. Says vocalist Arron Carter:

The lyrics discuss how we often place limitations and hold ourselves back from our true potential. The song is a call to to go after your aspirations in life and live in defiance of self-doubt.
