Gomorra
Following the critically acclaimed debut album Divine Judgement (2020), Swiss thrash metal legion Gomorra have announced the release of the band’s sophomore full-length record Dealer of Souls, out on December 9 via Noble Demon.
With an uncompromising metal attitude, the virtuoso thoroughbred musicians Jonas Ambühl, Dominic Blum, Arman Hadzic, Stefan Hösli and Damir Eskic set the bar high on their new album, and with the first single “War of Control” Gomorra have just unleashed a first and intense preview of the soon to be released album.
Ginger Wildheart & The Sinners
The thoughtful and charming “Footprints in the Sand” is about “patting yourself on the back occasionally, giving yourself credit for the personal struggles that you continually battle,” explains Ginger Wildheart.
Neil Ivison adds, “‘Footprints’ was the first song we ever wrote together. Nick, Ginger & I sat at a picnic table outside the studio, in the sun with a beer and a piece of paper, each of us had the bones of an idea and we put the song together in about 20 minutes. Then we went straight into the live room and recorded it exactly as you hear it now, the whole thing took just a couple of hours from start to finish. That’s when things started to get really exciting for me.”

Puppy Angst
“In Sensitivity” is a super upbeat song about working towards happiness despite struggling with mental health. The song is filled with dreamy, nostalgic guitar tones that get swallowed up by fuzz, wacky vocal processing, a melodic bassline, simultaneous guitar and synth solos… the hook and instrumentation are really fun, despite the lyrics maybe not being the happiest. In sensitivity, there is strength!
