On the 28th (Friday), Brazilian band About2Crash premiered the video clip “Save Me”, directed by well-known director Léo Liberti (Megadeth, Dee Snider, Angra). This new video marks the addition of vocalist Airton Araújo and guitarist Cristiano Wortmann as definitive .
Composed by Theo Vieira and Anderson Carlos, this petard pays homage to presenter and vocalist Vinícius Neves, one of the founding of the group, who recently ed away. Vinicius has always been a great exponent and promoter of national metal, together with his wife Cintia Diniz from Stay Heavy, a show completely dedicated to the segment that was very successful in the 2000s and 2010s.
The record also pays homage to Fernando Wortmann, brother of guitarist Cristiano Wortmann. Both fought an arduous fight against cancer.
Production was done by Adriano Daga (Malta) and Theo Vieira. The mixing and mastering wasdone in Los Angeles by Damien Rainaud (Dragonforce, Fear Factory).
Vocalist Airton Araújo comments on the release: “Personally I feel a complex load of emotions in this sound. It’s a strong message and it’s a beautiful tribute dedicated to very dear friends. It’s also the song responsible for effectively marking what kind of contribution I made voice can bring to the band’s sound. With each new composition there is a curiosity to know how my voice will interact with Theo’s and this is something very crazy, challenging and exciting. I’m very happy with the final result”, he analyzes.
