Chicago’s rising rock band Belmont have released their brand new single “In The Sky” via Pure Noise Records.
Speaking about the new single the band said, “In the chaos of life it’s easy to fall into a hole of feeling powerless, as you feed yourself to your environment and become its victim. The hard part is itting you find comfort in the lows while neglecting the pain that comes with growth. Misery enjoys company, don’t let it become your host. Sonically, “In The Sky” strives to push the boundaries of music in a way that can’t be found anywhere else. Blending elements of progressive pop punk, metal, hip hop, ambient EDM, hardcore, and everything under the umbrella of “rock” overall – the goal was to make something that was true to us as a band while keeping things catchy and palatable to the common listener, so that it would be engrained in their memory upon the first listen”
