A bonkers album to accompany a bonkers live show and bonkers animated videos. Destrage’s Are You Kidding Me? No was released in all territories at the start of March through Metal Blade, so if you like what you read you can grab it now!
If you like heavy but alternative with attitude then this could be the album for you. Gentle clean guitars swoop around and build to a heavy crescendo while vocals are overlaid in waves.
Prog segments clash with bits of groove; driving rock segues into lilting melody. It’s all here. If anything, there’s a little too much of a mixture for some, but for those with eclectic tastes, you may have discovered your musical Quality Street.
My personal choices are “Purania” and “Hosts, Rifles & Coke”.
