100-word review: Steel Panther – All You Can Eat

Steel Panther - All You Can EatBugger it. It’s been out a couple of weeks and most of you will have bought it anyway, but for those who haven’t… All You Can Eat is the third album from the hair metal parody band Steel Panther.

The problem with being a parody act is that you’re relying on a joke. When the joke wears out, what do you do? Releasing fresh material frequently seems the only way forward.

Unless… your parody material is strong in its own right. Steel Panther write brilliant material. While I thought the last album was a little weak compared to the first, All You Can Eat puts them back on form. Filthy, funny, and musically superb.

Sexual innuendo is for pussies. This bunch just churn out blatant smut that makes the 15 year-old in me crap himself laughing.

Party time, bitches!
