Review: Letters of the Lost – Walk With Us

WWUFire your shrink and listen to Letters of the Lost’s debut album Walk With Us instead. The guys have been together for over two years now and are following up their popular debut EP Merkio with this therapeutic creation. The eight tracks that make up the album give the listener a sort of therapy. “…Continued (Birth of Paths)” introduces and sets up the next songs calmly.

The title track is showing the growth the band has made. The dynamics of this composition are excellent and although is clearly very personal, it is sure to reach out to a wide empathetic audience. The remaining songs on Walk With Us (and there is a good amount of them), build upon the mentioned track developing a killing formula with ingredients that include metalcore, thrash metal, prog metal and djent. If Letters of the Lost carry on improving at the same pace, they are going to keep increasing their success.
