On Tuesday night, two fifths of The Darker My Horizon took to the stage at Underworld in Camden to play an acoustic set ing Terry Brock (former Kansas, Giant & Strangeways lead vocalist).
Paul Stead and Alan Kirkham from Berkshire-based TDmH played a selection of stripped-back versions of songs from their debut album “Acquiesce” (reviewed by Moshville here).
They also treated us to two tracks from their forthcoming album No Superhero which is out in July. If the acoustic versions are anything to go by, this is going to be another brilliant heart-felt melodic rock album!
Mid-set Paul and Alan were ed on stage by Terry Brock for their splendid cover of Bob Dylan’s “Knocking on Heaven’s Door”. All in all it was a brilliantly evening of intimate live music and storytelling.
Tonight TDmH play The Iron Road (Evesham) ing Terry Brock once more. Be sure to go check them out if you are in the area!
The Darker My Horizon return to London on 17 July to Nazareth at Under The Bridge (Stamford Bridge).
